Godfred Dame in Hot water as 14yrs old ‘unlawful’ deal haunt him at Appointment Committee

Minister for Justice and Attorney General designate, Godfred Yeboah Dame face disqualification in parliament vetting as a Businesswoman petitioned the Appointment Committee against his nomination.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FREKO FD Enterprise is questioning the re-appointment and promotion of Mr. Dame by the president to be Minister of Justice and Attorney-General.

Madam Freda Darko who has petitioned Parliament’s Appointment Committee to disqualify Mr. Dame from the appointment in a letter sighted by EXPRESSNEWSGHANA, alleged that the former Deputy AG is vicious and cannot be in charge of the country’s Justice Ministry.

In the petition, she claimed that Lawyer Dame managed to secured her Bank Accounts  details and obtained a garnishee order from court to withdraw money from same when she was not a party to the law court  suit.

Again she said, Mr. Dame throughout his term as Deputy Attorney-General and Minister of Justice was also counsel for a defendant in a court case, pointing to conflict of interest among others.

Chronicling series of occurrences between Mr. Dame and her, she said ‘a person who finds ways which is contrary to the laws of our dear country to cheat a fellow citizen does not deserve to be in the position of Attorney-General and Minister of Justice’.

She adds” , I cry on your high office as the Appointments Committee Chairman of Parliament to disqualify the appointment of Mr. Godfred Dame as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Republic of Ghana. Because a person who finds ways which are contrary to the laws of our dear country to cheat a fellow citizen does not deserve the position as the Attorney General of our dear country, Ghana.
