Madina MP Lawyer Sosu institutes Human Rights Law Students Awards at UPSA Law Faculty

The renowned Human Rights Lawyer and Legislator representing the people of MADINA in the 8th parliament, Hon. Francis-Xavier Kojo Sosu (Esq) has fulfilled yet another campaign promise of sponsoring an Award that recognizes the achievement of students of UPSA Law faculty in the Human rights category.

As part of his policy to encourage and promote the study of Law, the Member of Parliament for Madina at the Launch of his education Project announced that, his office through the EDUSCHEME Project will collaborate with the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), to institute an annual BEST HUMAN RIGHTS LAW STUDENT AWARD.

At the first Session of the 13th congregation ceremony held at the UPSA campus in Accra, the annual award saw Master Bright Wilson Kwame Doe winning the maiden edition. He took home a brand new HP laptop, a one year paid internship with F-X Law and Associates and a certificate of recognition.

Lawyer Francis Xavier Sosu is also a Human Rights and Public Interest Litigation Lawyer. He is actively engaged in Human Rights promotion and Practice in Ghana. He founded the Treasure of Life Foundation, Ghana and USA to reach out to needy, destitute and the vulnerable within the Ghanaian society. He  also founded the Youth For Human Rights, Africa to promote human rights education on fundamental rights and liberties of citizens in Ghana and other African Countries. He is currently a  member of the United Nations Association of Ghana and desire partnership to reach out to hurting people by showing them the love of God through  service and professional career.
