Same has been handed over to constituency executives and the Islam Project, for distribution to our Muslim brothers and sisters.
Aside donations made to over twenty Bases in Madina Zongo, this is the second in the series of donations made to reach out to vulnerable Moslems. It would be recalled that before the commencement of the fasting, the Member of Parliament for MADINA, Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu (Esq), in collaboration with the HUDAI FOUNDATION, distributed 100 bags of rice and 100 gallons of cooking oil to vulnerable Muslims to aid them during the fasting period.
The Madina constituency Zongo Caucus coordinator of the NDC party, Alhaji Yakubu Tallie, who received the donation on behalf of the constituency executives, expressed gratitude to the MP and prayed for Allah’s blessings upon him.
Mr. Tawfiq Mohammed, CEO of the MPs Islam project also received on behalf of the project for distribution to vulnerable Muslims in the constituency, regardless their political affiliations. He was thankful for the continuous support by the MP for the Islam community.
The Head of Business at the office of the Member of Parliament, Mr. Timothy Nnyuieke Thatchroot-Becke who made the donation on behalf the MP, implored the beneficiaries to continue to bear the leadership in prayers.
